Smithers Skate Park
The skatepark was built by using a layout that suited skaters of all levels, including ramps, bowls, and rails, tailored for various tricks and skills. A construction crew then prepared the site, poured concrete, and installed the custom features, ensuring durability and safety for long-term use.
Our expertise in survey, materials testing, and density testing allowed us to assist in bringing this community project to life.
Constructed in 1996, Smithers' Skate Park was then the sole dedicated skate park situated north of Kamloops. The local "Smithers Skatepark Society" has since rallied the community to support the expansion of the skate park, aiming to make it one of the largest parks in the region.
