Cycle 16 - Highway 16 Bike Path

A 12 km Trail designed to allow cyclist and pedestrians to use non motorized travel between Smithers and Telkwa. The constructed path now follows the highway right of way.

The 12 km trail is just off the highway along the right-of-way. At the Smithers end, it is along the west side of the highway. At about midway, it will crosses the highway via an underpass and follow the east side of the highway to Telkwa.

Phase 1 extended from Babine Lake rd. to the Smithers Bridge for a total length of 3.7km. It is paved with a centerline.
